The first step is to develop a rapport and a safe haven for my client, be it a child or adult so that they can feel free to open up to me with regards to their problems and emotions. Together when then work on short term goals that we would like to accomplish followed by follow up of the same in the next session so that appropriate modifications can be made.
I have completed my Masters in Career and Developmental Psychology from SNDT University, Mumbai and Bachelor's in Psychology and Sociology from Mumbai University. I have 5 years of work experience in the field of career counseling and child psychology.
I have always had a keen passion for psychology and always volunteered in the field of education. It's amazing how your brain, a small squishy mass can govern how you think and feel and equally amazing how one can train it to do as you want.
