Professional experience
• Responsible for identifying patient needs, counselling and preparing nutritional care strategies and diet charts as per the medical analysis to help achieve diet goals. • Maintaining proper reports and regular follow-up to ensure the patients achieve their goal • Responsible for planning & customizing diets for patients with special nutritional needs • Diet consultation for Inpatients on discharge, OPD & Health Check Ups where deemed Necessary • Provide input in planning of nutrition services activities. • Regular ward rounds & patient interaction and organize in-house events on Nutrition & diet • Ensure quality control & implementation of standards as for safety, hygiene etc. • Responsible for briefing the patients / relatives on the treatment procedure & benefits of prescribed food plan • Providing appropriate therapeutic & non-therapeutic diets to all patients within their socio cultural constraints. • Prepare written nutrition education materials for the hospital magazine and newspaper. • A Perform sanitation inspection, patient satisfaction surveys. • Keep abreast of relevant nutrition research changes, changes in delivery of nutrition services etc. • Acted as a liaison with physician to clarify and interpret medical information
