I hold a Masters of Science degree in Counselling Psychology from West Bengal State University, UGC NET Qualified for Assistant Professorship, GATE qualified in *information hidden*Currently working as Assistant Professor of Psychology at Adamas University, Kolkata, I possess over two years of experience in teaching and 2 years of experience as a researcher with 4 years of working expertise in counseling in different sectors including hospitals, private clinics and schools.

I am passionate about mental health since a very young age. After completing masters, I got involved with an NGO which works in Kolkata for the upliftment of mental health. With two public seminars for raising mental health awareness among the masses which had audiences of almost all age groups, gender and profession, I started receiving patient referrals with psychological distress. Then I worked as a research assistant cum counsellor for an ICMR project in a Cancer Hospital in Kolkata. After qualifying UGC NET, I am teaching as a faculty of psychology at the University level.

Patients of both genders, adults and children alike, majorly with problems of depression, personality disorders, anxiety related disorders including OCD, Phobia and PTSD, children with Learning disorders and conduct issues, sexual dysfunction, sexuality issues and marital problems along with patients of terminal illness like cancer.
